Valley Leadership Lab – Social Enterprise Round Table

The Community Sector Council is proud to host Common Good Solutions for their first ‘Social Enterprise Roundtable’.
The evening will start off with a screening of The Social Shift, a documentary that follows three young Nova Scotians journey across Canada to highlight businesses that are adding economic and social value to world. Following the documentary we will have an open conversation about social enterprise as a tool for Community Economic Development and introducing the group to the concept of Social Enterprise Round Tables.
Meet like-minded community leaders and learn about the resources available.

8500 kilometres, over 50 interviews, 14 cities, 9 provinces, 6 weeks. Travel with three lively millenials as they drive across Canada navigating a geographic canvas of consumption and inequity, kindness and generosity and, most of all, a drive for change; capturing the stories of passionate citizens using business as a tool for good.
